William "Larry" Hicks

Mr. William “Larry” Hicks, age 80, of Gallatin, Tennessee, passed away on Wednesday, November 19, 2025, at the Highpoint Health Sumner Ascension St. Thomas in Gallatin, TN.

He was born on August 16, 1945, in Detroit, Michigan, to the late Herschel Hicks and Wanda Sue Johnson Hicks.

 Larry was a dedicated Regional Install Manager and was currently employed with Lowe’s. He previously worked for Sears for 22 years. He was an avid University of Kentucky Wildcats fan and enjoyed following their teams throughout the years.

Larry is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Sandra Joyce Summers Hicks, whom he married on August 15, 1964; two daughters, Tina (Ray) Heatwall of Tallmadge, Ohio, and Stephanie (Garry) Hall of Dallas, Texas; four grandchildren, Jarett (Ally) Heatwall of Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio, Josh Heatwall of Cuyahoga, Ohio, Cortney (Andy) Pattison of Des Moines, Iowa, and Chelsea (Michael) Erdman of Lewisburg, Tennessee; and six great-grandchildren, Jaxson Ontiveros, Rylan Perry, and Kallen Pattison, all of Des Moines, Iowa, and Allison Whitley, Dawson Erdman, and Scarlett Erdman, all of Lewisburg, Tennessee.

Graveside services will be held at 1PM Saturday, November 22, 2025, in the Hickman City Cemetery. There will be no visitation held at the funeral and friends are asked to meet at the cemetery at the hour service.
