William Joseph (Billy Joe) Speight

May 27, 1931 — May 19, 2007

He helped to bring back the Walnut Grove Church where he attended. He lived most of his life in Fulton KY. He was employed as a switchman for 42 yrs
for the IC Railroad . He was also a member of the American Legion.
He was a US Navy Veteran serving in the Korean War.

He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Lawan Rozzell Speight.
A daughter Joanna Damons of Dickson TN. A granddaughter Kayla Damons of Dickson TN. A sister Nell Westmoreland of Fulton KY.

He was preceded in death by his parents Roger Lee and Emma D.
Peeples Speight. Also a sister Pat Bennett.

Services for Mr Speight will be held at 11am Tuesday in our funeral chapel. Friends may call the funeral home from 5 to 8 pm Monday and anytime Tuesday until the funeral hour. Memorials may be made to the Walnut Grove Church c/o Tommy Cannon 4822 Charles Cannon Rd. South Fulton, TN 38257.
