Wallace Reed "Butch" Dowty, Jr

Mr. Wallace Reed "Butch" Dowty Jr., age 69, of Fulton, KY passed away Thursday, October 30, 2025, at the West Tennessee Healthcare Volunteer Hospital ER in Martin, TN.

He was born on September 13, 1956, in Memphis, TN, to the late Wallace Reed Dowty Sr and Bonnie Sue Criner Dowty.

Wallace "Butch" Dowty was a member of Parkway Church of Christ, Martin City Masonic Lodge #551, and Memphis M Club. He received his bachelor's degree at Memphis State University and was a retired athletic equipment manager.

He is survived by his wife, Pam Sutton Dowty of Fulton, KY; a daughter, Casey Dowty of Franklin, TN; and two sisters, Lynda (Mike) Hall of Hamilton, AL and Mary Gwynne (Larry) McDaniel of Corinth, MS.

Funeral services for Mr. Wallace Reed "Butch" Dowty Jr. will be held at 1 PM on Saturday, November 8, 2025, at Parkway Church of Christ with Bro. Caulyn Holbrook and Bro. Cecil May officiating. Visitation will be held Saturday, November 8, 2025, at Parkway Church of Christ from 10AM until the hour of service. Burial will be Monday, November 10, 2025, at Memphis Memory Gardens.
