Thomas Freeze

Mr. Thomas Freeze, Jr., age 76, of Hickman, KY, passed away Tuesday, August 11, 2026, at Jackson Purchase Medical Center in Mayfield, KY.

He was born January 22, 1950, in Diehlstadt, MO, to the late Thomas Freeze and Jewell Rogers Freeze.

Thomas was a member of the Baptist faith and retired from RECC-Hickman, where he worked as a tree trimmer. He enjoyed hunting and had a special talent for making knives from deer antlers.

He is survived by his wife, Judy Hickman Freeze; two daughters, Stacey (Bryan) McEvoy Horn of Paragould, AR, and Rachel Freeze (Craig) McCord of Martin, TN; five grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and one sister, Faye Duke of Bardwell, KY.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three sisters and two brothers.

Funeral services for Mr. Thomas Freeze, Jr., will be held at 1:00 PM Saturday at Hornbeak Funeral Chapel in Hickman, with burial to follow in Hickman City Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 5:00–7:00 PM Friday and after 10:00 AM Saturday until the hour of service.
