She was a member of the Pleasant View Baptist Church and was a homemaker.
She is survived by her husband - Wayne Byrd of Martin, TN, 2 daughters - Treasa Shipley of Martin, TN and Kelli Frazier of Greenfield, TN; a son - Curt Barker of Martin,TN and 9 grandchildren. 4 sisters: Ruth Morrison of McConnell, TN, Shirley Mason of Martin,TN, Nancy Freeman of Lansing, MI and Jo Ann
William of Pittsburg, Texas.
She was preceded in death by her parents- Odell (McMillin) and Cecil Richard Mason.
Funeral services for Mrs. Byrd will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at the Hornbeak Funeral Chapel. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 5-8 p.m. on Sunday, July 15 and anytime on Monday until the funeral hour.
