Sharon A. Johnson

Ms. Sharon A. Johnson, age 84, of Fulton, Kentucky, passed away on Thursday, January 15, 2026, at her residence.

She was born on September 1, 1941, in Cole County, Missouri, to the late Ralph E. Armstrong and Ethel Couver Armstrong.

Ms. Johnson was a devoted member of the Church of Christian Science and a retired French teacher with the Fulton Independent Schools. She was also an active member of the Fulton Lions Club.

She is survived by her daughter-in-law, Elizabeth “Betsy” Johnson.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Joe W. Johnson; two sons, J. Lee Johnson and Kevin Wade Johnson; and her siblings, John, James, Hazel, Dorothy, Ethel Bell, Grace, and Katherine.

Graveside services for Ms. Johnson will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 17, 2026, at Greenlea Cemetery. There will be no visitation at the funeral home; friends are asked to meet at the cemetery at the hour of service.
