Mrs. Sarah Margret Boekhout, age 83, of the Pilot Oak Community, passed away Wednesday, August 6, 2025, at her residence.
She was born on October 27, 1941, in St. Michael, PA to the late Kenneth Earl Costlow and Margret Ellen Hartshorn.
Sarah was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Mayfield, KY. She loved spending time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband, Garry Boekhout, to whom she married November 23, 1963, three sons; Carl (Uthaiwan) Nelson of Fulton, KY and Gordon "Beaver" Nelson of Fulton, KY and Glenn Patrick ( Lauren) Boekhout of Farmington, KY, eight grandchildren; Marc (Nancy) Nelson of Frankfort, Germany, Elizabeth O'Neil of Mayfield, KY, Erica (Bradley) Stokes of Mayfield, KY, Garry Nelson of Nashville, TN, Oliva Eley of Paducah, KY, Tabatha Mayo of Cincinnati, OH, Megan Boekhout of New Brunswick, NJ, Brett Errickson of Farmington, KY, nine great grandchildren and two sisters; Wilma Jean Costlow of California and Edith Glenn Costlow of Virginia.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a brother Kenneth Earl Costlow, Jr and a sister, Peggy Ann Costlow.
There will be no services held at the funeral home for Mrs. Sarah Boekhout.
