Richard Allen Pursell

Mr. Richard Allen Pursell, 69, of Fulton, Kentucky, passed away on Thursday, April 23, 2026, at Jackson Purchase Medical Center in Mayfield, Kentucky.

He was born on May 15, 1956, in Graves County, Kentucky, to the late Chrystell Watts Murrell Pursell and Ted Pursell.

Mr. Pursell was a proud veteran of the United States Army, having served in Vietnam. Following his military service, he worked for many years as a truck driver before retiring.

He is survived by his son, Richie Pursell, as well as several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by four sisters: Mary Lee Swift, Beverly Nell Myers, Sylvia Ann Altgilbers, and Trecia Pursell Dalton.

There will be no services held at the funeral home.
