Phyllis Birmingham

Ms. Phyllis Jean Birmingham of South Fulton, TN, passed away on Monday morning, June 30, 2025, at her residence following an extended illness. She was born in Fulton, KY on June 3, 1945, to the late John Willis and Thelma Irene (Collins) Robertson.

Phyllis was a member of the Johnson Grove Baptist Church and formerly worked as a secretary for R.L Birmingham Trucking. Her favorite holiday was the Fourth of July where she hosted a large party for her family and friends. She also enjoyed Nascar and outdoor activities, especially camping.

Phyllis is survived by three daughters, Larisa Morehead of South Fulton, TN, Crystal Brandon of South Fulton, TN, and Brittany Birmingham of South Fulton, TN; one son, Randy (Cindy) Birmingham of Crutchfield, KY; eight grandchildren, Micheal (Angie) Morehead of South Fulton, TN, Brandon (Rachel) Birmingham of Beelerton, KY, Gabbi (Eathan) Brandon of South Fulton, TN, Anabel Brandon of South Fulton, TN, Hailey Long of Greenfield, IN, Jase Long of South Fulton, TN, Luke Long of South Fulton, TN, and Cloee Clapper of South Fulton, TN; four great grandchildren, Olivia Morehead of South Fulton, Keegan Birmingham of Beelerton, KY, Eden Leath of Paducah, KY, and Stetson Rogers of South Fulton, TN; and one brother, Garry (Vonda) Robertson of Union City, TN, also survives.

In addition to her parents, Ms. Brimingham is preceded in death by her husband, Richard Larris Birmingham, who passed away August 28, 2001; one brother, James Willis Robertson; and one sister, Christine King.

Funeral Services for Ms. Phyllis Birmingham will be held 2:00 PM on Thursday, July 3, 2025, at the Hornbeak Funeral Chapel in Fulton. Bro. Shawn White will officiate. Burial will follow in Obion Co. Memorial Gardens in Union City, TN. Visitation for Ms. Phyllis Birmingham will be held at the funeral home from 11:00 AM Thursday until hour of service.
