Mr. Michael "Mike" Eugene Cirkles, 66, of South Fulton, Tennessee, passed away on Friday, July 31, 2026, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Union City, Tennessee.
Mike was born on June 10, 1960, in Fallbrook, California, to the late Dan Cirkles and Cora Earleen Riddle Cirkles.
A faithful member of McConnell Baptist Church, Mike served as a deacon, Sunday School teacher, and song leader. He proudly served his country in the United States Army National Guard. Mike dedicated his career to the poultry industry, working as a Live Haul Manager for Tyson Foods while also owning and operating chicken houses for 29 years. After relocating to the area in 1997, he made South Fulton his home, where he became a well-known and respected member of the community.
Mike had a deep appreciation for the outdoors and enjoyed fishing, golfing, and hunting. He spent many years as a dedicated truck driver and had a lifelong passion for cowboying, horses, and the western way of life. Mike also enjoyed singing, off-roading, woodworking, tinkering, auctioneering, and was an accomplished bull and bronc rider. He proudly served as a firefighter and had a keen interest in weather spotting. Above all, Mike was known for his generous spirit and unwavering willingness to help others. He was always there when someone needed him.
On December 21, 1979, he married the love of his life, Sharon Meredith Cirkles, who survives. He is also survived by his children, Michael (Ashlea) Cirkles of South Fulton, Tennessee, Keith (Tomi) Cirkles of South Fulton, Tennessee, and Chevy; three grandchildren, Dane Cirkles, Jasper Cirkles, and Degan Cirkles, all of South Fulton, Tennessee; his siblings, Danny Cirkles, Jr. of Sherman, Texas, David Cirkles of Gillham, Arkansas, Dean Cirkles of Telephone, Texas, Teresa Jameson of Bossier City, Louisiana, and Bobby Jo Cirkles of Scoggins, Texas; and two aunts, Ann Carson of Bonham, Texas, and Treva Looper of Monterey, Tennessee and many friends
In addition to his parents, Mike was preceded in death by his daughter, Veronica Cirkles, and his grandparents, Jack and Neely Cirkles.
Pallbearers will be: Dylan Bynum, Dane Cirkles, Tim Davis, Quadyn Morefield, Jonathan Doss, Wyatt Hollingsworth.
Funeral services for Mr. Mike Cirkles will be held at 11AM Monday, August 3, 2026 at the McConnell Baptist Church with burial to follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5-7PM Sunday at the funeral home and after 10AM Monday at the McConnell Baptist Church.
