Michael Wilson

Mr. Michael Wilson, age 75, of Hickman, KY passed away Sunday, December 14, 2025, at his residence.

He was born on September 24, 1950, in Tiptonville, TN to the late Jack Wilson and Maybelle Powers Wilson.

Michael was a member of the Moscow Baptist Church and was United States Army veteran, where he served in Vietnam. He retired from Tyson Foods, where he worked in the hatchery. He lived most of his life in this area and loved the outdoors and tinkering in his workshop.

He is survived by his wife, Sarah Ligons Wilson, whom he married January 14, 1977, a son Michael Shane Wilson of Union City, TN, a daughter Kayla Wilson of Clinton, KY, two grandchildren; Seth Wilson of Hilton Head, SC and Kenna Brewer of Clinton, KY and two sisters; Paula Covey and Martha Wilson both of Union City, TN.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his siblings; Lynn Wilson, Mark Wilson, Gay White, Rita Brasure, Sue Mitchell, Ann Jackson, Harold Wilson, Jerrell Wilson, Earl Wilson, Don Ray Wilson, Rob Wilson and Charles Wilson.

There will be no services held for Mr. Michael Wilson.

Hornbeak Funeral Chapel in Hickman is in charge of arrangements.
