Margaret Elizabeth "Beth" Smithson passed away peacefully surrounded by love on August 7th 2026, leaving behind a legacy of kindness, compassion, and unconditional love for her family, and everyone fortunate enough to know her. She was born February 9th, 1969 to the late Roland Bell and mother Margaret Lee Neal.

Beth had a heart bigger than words could ever describe. She was the kind of person who would go out of her way to help anyone who needed her - often putting the needs of others before her own. She gave freely of herself, her time, and her love, and she never hesitated to lend a helping hand, a listening ear, or a shoulder to lean on.

Above all else, Beth was a devoted mother, and family was the center of her world. She was incredibly proud of her children Erin and Katie. There was nothing she loved more than seeing her children happy and building lives of their own. She was their biggest supporter, their loudest cheerleader, and their number-one fan. She believed in her children whole-heartedly, and made sure they always knew how proud she was of them.

To her children, Beth was so much more than a mother. She was the source of strength, encouragement, comfort and unconditional love. Her presence made them feel supported, believed in, and loved - no matter what life brought their way.

Beth is survived by her daughters, Erin ( Travis) Vicary and Katie Bivens; her mother, Margaret Lee Neal, grandchildren; Stetson Carrier, Waylon Brown, Ryder Brown, Ezra Vicary, Lane Vicary, and Luke Vicary, and her many extended family and friends who loved her dearly.

Those who knew Beth will remember her generous heart, her willingness to help others, her fierce love for her family, and the gift for making people feel cared for. Her greatest legacy is not something that can be measured - it lives on in the lives she touched, and the kindness she gave so freely.

Although her absence leaves an immeasurable space in the hearts of those who loved her, Beth's love will remain with her family forever. She was deeply loved. She will be deeply missed. And she will never be forgotten.
