Mr. Lonnie Neil Jackson, age 75, of Clinton, KY, passed away Wednesday, September 30, 2026, due to injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
He was born November 2, 1950, in Clinton, KY, to the late Denzel Jackson and Ethel Chapman Jackson.
Lonnie was a member of Liberty Worship Center and a United States Army veteran who proudly served in Vietnam and was awarded the Purple Heart. He retired from the former Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company, where he worked in the Final Finish Department. He loved the outdoors, especially fishing, which was both a hobby and a passion. One of his greatest joys was spending time with his grandchildren and teaching them how to fish.
He is survived by one son, Chris (Amy) Jackson of Smyrna, TN; two daughters, Kandy (John) Bostwick of Knoxville, TN, and Cindy (Antonio) Williams of South Fulton, TN; five grandchildren, Tenley, Keegan, and Case Bostwick, all of Knoxville, TN, and Evan and Avery Williams of South Fulton, TN; one brother, Lendel Jackson of Clinton, KY; and one sister, Ruthie Edwards of Brownsville, TN.
In addition to his parents, Lonnie was preceded in death by one sister, Judy Lawrence, and one brother, David Joe Jackson.
Funeral services for Mr. Lonnie Jackson will he held at 1PM Saturday, October 3, 2026, in our funeral chapel with burial to follow in the Obion County Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 11AM Saturday until the hour of service.
