Linda Hamil

Ms. Linda Lee Moran Hamil, age 77, of Hickman, KY, sadly passed away Thursday, November 20, 2025, at the West Tennessee Healthcare Volunteer Martin Hospital ER.

She was born December 4, 1947, in Hickman, KY, to the late Reed Moran, Jr, and Marie Walker Moran. She has two children, Clarence (Anita) Jones, Jr, and Laura Jones (Louie) Blankenhorn, and seven siblings: Phillip Moran, Terry Moran, Mitchell Moran, Kirby Moran, JoAnn Burcham, Kathy Godfrey, and Kennetha Adams.

Linda enjoyed ancient history and loved all things space-related. She was a homemaker most of her life and enjoyed being a loving grandmother to her six grandchildren: Courtney Mosier, Hunter Jones, Alexandra Shoener, Lindsey Shoener, Gretchen Blankenhorn, and Jaden Blankenhorn, and four great-grandchildren: Kelly, Drake, Luke, and Colton. She was very much loved and cherished. She will be greatly missed.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Donald Hamil, and her four brothers.

There will be no services held at the funeral home.

Hornbeak Funeral Chapel in Hickman is in charge of arrangements.
