Linda Lee Gay

Mrs. Linda Lee Gay, age 71, of South Fulton, TN passed away Wednesday, April 29, 2026, at her residence.

She was born on May 29, 1954, in Peoria, IL to the late Charles Neuhaus and Virginia Schindler Neuhaus.

Linda was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and Sunday school teacher. She was humble, selfless, God-fearing woman who walked by faith. She always put others before herself and would give you the very shirt off her back if you asked her.

One of her love languages was cooking and feeding people making sure they always had enough. Her main goal in life was to tell you about Jesus and for you to get your life right on a Godly path. She had a passion for teaching children and bringing them up in the ways of the Lord. She took care of and raised many children in her home. Her last wishes were for all of her children and family be saved, and one day meet her in Heaven.

She will be greatly missed, and her spirit and love will live in our hearts forever.

She is survived by her children; Jennifer Strothkamp of Aurora, CO, Fern Rue of Mayfield, KY and Daniel Hillin of Union City, TN, nine grandchildren; Amber Gay, Ashley Peoples, Tyler Peoples, Deonna Neuhaus, Makayla Thomas, Hailey Hillin, Madison Hillin and Brooklynn Hillin; five great grandchildren and a brother Rick Cary of Huntingdon, TN.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Jeffrey Gay, a daughter, Jessica Gay and a grandson Skyler Hillin.

There will be no services held at the funeral home.
