Joyce Faye Jones

Ms. Joyce Faye Jones, age 83, of South Fulton, Tennessee, passed away at her residence on Friday, July 3, 2026.

Born on August 1, 1942, in Jefferson City, Missouri, Joyce was the daughter of the late Jess Bunton and Mollie Sadler Bunton.

Joyce was a devoted member of South Fulton Baptist Church, where she faithfully served as a choir member for many years. She was employed by the former DURA plant and spent her entire life in the South Fulton area.She was an active member of the local senior citizens organization. Above all, she cherished her family and found her greatest joy in spending time with her children, granddaughter, and great-grandchildren.

She is survived by her two sons, Keith Jones and his wife Michelle Lazalier-Jones of Murfreesboro, Tennessee, and Mike (Anita) Jones of Clarksville, Tennessee; her granddaughter, Hailey (Nic) Screnock of Jefferson, Georgia; her two great-grandchildren, Miller and Saylor Screnock of Jefferson, Georgia; and her brother, Donald Bunton of South Fulton, Tennessee.

In addition to her parents, Joyce was preceded in death by ten siblings.

Funeral services for Ms. Joyce Jones will be held at 12Noon Tuesday, July 7, 2026 in our funeral chapel with burial to follow in the Freeman Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 10AM Tuesday until the hour of service.
