Joyce Ellis

Ms. Joyce Ellis, age 81, of Mason, Tennessee, and formerly of Hickman, Kentucky, passed away on Wednesday, December 17, 2025, at her residence.

She was born on August 29, 1944, in Fulton County, Kentucky, to the late Homer Carl Stem and Dorothy May Rhodes Stem.

Ms. Ellis was employed for several years at the former Reelfoot Packing and the former Henry I. Siegel (H.I.S.). In her later years, she devoted her time to caring for others as a caregiver.

She is survived by two sons, Ricky Dale (Rose Marie) Blincoe of Covington, Tennessee, and Ronnie Glenn Blincoe of Mason, Tennessee; four grandchildren, Anthony (Kay) Rudicil of Covington, Kentucky, Kimberly Marie Wilharm of Boulder, Colorado, Kayla Marie Blincoe of Covington, Tennessee, and Andrew Paul (Kaylee) Blincoe of Hickman, Kentucky; and nine great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Jimmy Blincoe; her second husband, Lawrence Eugene Ellis; a son, James Randell Blincoe; and a sister.

Funeral services for Ms. Joyce Ellis will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 21, 2025, at Hornbeak Funeral Chapel in Hickman, with burial to follow in Hickman City Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Sunday from 1:00 p.m. until the hour of service.
