James Larry Walker

Mr. James Larry Walker of the Cayce Community, passed away May 9, 2026 at Baptist Health of Paducah.

Mr. Walker was born February 26, 1943 to the late James Cloys (J.C.) Walker and Marjorie (Hopkins) Walker. Living most of his life in the Cayce area, he was a former self-employed master piano technician.

Larry leaves behind his loving wife Phyllis, whom he married August 25, 1962. He is also survived by his children, James Buckley Walker of Wingo, Ky., and Sherri Walker O'Neal (Steven), of Cayce, Ky., his grandchildren Steven Scott O'Neal (Megan), of Los Angeles, CA., and Elizabeth Walker Mendiola (George), of Mayfield, Ky., four great-grandchildren, and one sister Janice Walker Whitlock (Michael) of Fulgham, Ky.

Mr. Walker is preceded in death by one daughter, Stacey Lynn Walker, and sister Brownie Walker Burkett.

Burial for Mr. James Larry Walker will be held Wednesday, May 13, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. at the Cayce Methodist Cemetery. Family and friends are welcome to attend. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Cayce Methodist Cemetery, 103 St. Rt. 94 W, Fulton, Ky. 42041.
