Erica Selene Busby Mayes

Ms. Erica Selene Busby Mayes, age 47, of Hickman, Kentucky, passed away peacefully at her residence on Sunday, June 28, 2026.

Born on November 23, 1978, in Union City, Tennessee, Erica was the beloved daughter of Lace Busby, Jr. and Sandra McClure Busby of Hickman, Kentucky.

Erica was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. She worked as a server at several local restaurants throughout the years, where she was known for her warm smile and friendly nature. She had a deep love for music, enjoyed watching scary movies, and found great joy in cooking for her family. Above all, Erica cherished the time she spent with her children and grandchildren, who brought immeasurable happiness to her life.

In addition to her loving parents, Erica is survived by her two sons, Grant (Kelsey) Wiley and Cullen (Autumn) Wiley, both of Hickman, Kentucky; her cherished grandchildren, Presley, Reece, Rhett, Claire, and Kennedy Wiley; her brother, Corey (Erin) Busby of Union City, Tennessee; her nieces, Kerrigan and Sloane; and her extended family, Gwenda and Richard Bowman.

Funeral services for Erica Selene Busby Mayes will be held at 2PM Tuesday, June 30, 2026 at the Hornbeak Funeral Chapel in Hickman. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 12Noon Tuesday until the hour of service.
