Elizabeth Gearin

Ms. Elizabeth Gearin, age 71, of Union City, TN, passed away Sunday, November 16, 2025, at her residence. Ms. Gearin was born on July 2, 1954, in Martin, TN, to the late Arland Edward Simmons and Ella Mai Baker Simmons. Ms. Gearin had previously lived in Sidonia, TN, and Hopin, TN, before moving to Union City. She had previously worked in retail, owning and operating her own store.

Ms. Gearin is survived by two children, a son, Ricky Gene Gallimore, and one daughter, Tera Lea Simpson both of Union City, TN, four grandchildren, LaGina Simpson, of South Fulton, TN, Christian Gallimore of Millington, TN, Robert Gearin of Dresden, TN, Robyn Stowell of Union City, TN, two great grandchildren, Greyson Morris and Emberlynn Morris, and one brother Ricky Simmons of Sidonia,TN.

In addition to her parents, Ms. Gearin is preceded in death by one sister, Diane Simmons.

There will be no services held at the funeral home. A celebration of life service will be held at a later date.

Hornbeak Funeral Chapel in Fulton is in charge of arrangements.
