Edna Roper

Ms. Edna Earl Bruner Roper, age 96, of Hickman, KY passed away Thursday, October 2, 2025, at the Baptist Memorial Hospital in Union City, TN.

She was born on June 13, 1929, in Fulton, KY, to the late Hugh Chambers and Lola Mae Jenkins.

Edna was a member of the East Hickman Baptist Church, where she was a charter member. She was a homemaker and lived all of her life in this area.

She is survived by two sons Randall Bruner of Hickman, KY and Felix (Shannon) Bruner of Trumann, AR; three grandchildren Jeremy Bruner of Union City, TN, Jonathan (Christie) Bruner of Springdale, AR, and Shanneil White of Jonesboro, AR; five great grandchildren Colby and Allie Bruner both of Union City, TN, Riley and Colton Bruner both of Springdale, AR and London White of Trumann, AR.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her first husband, Kensel Bruner; her second husband, Gerald Roper, and two sisters.

Funeral services will be held at 2PM Sunday, October 5, 2025, at the East Hickman Baptist Church with burial to follow in the Liberty Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the East Hickman Baptist Church from 11AM Sunday until the hour of service.
