Diana "DD" Markle

Ms. Diana "DD" Markle, age 63, of South Fulton, passed away Tuesday, October 7, 2025, at her residence. DD was born in Union City, TN, to the late Bobby Markle Sr. and Darlene "Momma" Graham Pannell of South Fulton, TN. She was a member of the Faith and Deliverance Church in South Fulton and had lived all of her life in this area. She had worked in retail and was a successful entrepreneur. 

In addition to her mother, she is survived by her stepfather, Wayne Pannell, two children, Jessica Gordon of Dresden, TN, and Jeremy Scott (Heather Renee) Gordon of Dresden, TN., six grandchildren, Dakota Shaw, Jonathan (Bethany) Shaw, Kelly Gordon, Braden Hamilton, Emily North, and Rachel North all of Dresden, TN, seven greatgrandchildren, ten brothers and sisters, Jimbo Pannell, Jeremiah Pannell of KY, Joshua Pannell of IL, Michelle Pannell of Clinton, KY, Chris Pannell of Mayfield, KY, Timothy Markel of Clinton, KY, Justin Markle of Mayfield, KY, Becky Crider of Fulton, KY, Richard Markle of AR, and Allen Markle of AR, and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her fathers, Bobby Markle Sr., and Jim Pannell, she is preceded in death by one brother, Bobby Markle Jr., and a sister, Sonja Henderson.

A celebration of life service for Ms. DD Markle will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, October 11, 2025, at the Faith and Deliverance Church in South Fulton, TN. Pastor Trudy Cary will officiate. Visitation will be held at the church from 1:00 PM on Saturday, the 11th, until the service hour. There will be no visitation held at the funeral home, and friends are asked to meet at the church for the services.
