Dewey Wayne Busby

Mr. Dewey Wayne Busby, age 69, of Hickman, KY passed away Friday, August 15, 2025, at the Fulton Nursing and Rehab in Fulton, KY.

He was born on March 27, 1956, in Hickman, KY to the late Lace Busby Sr. and Betty Joyce Golden Busby.

Dewey attended David's Chapel Baptist Church and worked as a Pilot for the riverboat industry. He lived most of his life in the Hickman area.

He is survived by a daughter Kara O'Malley of Hickman, KY, a son Eric(Darla)Busby of St. Louis, MO, two grandchildren; Connor O'Malley and Kael O'Malley both of Hickman, KY and a brother, Butch Busby of Hickman, KY.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a brother, Joe Anthony Busby.

There will be no services held at the funeral home and private family services will be held.

Hornbeak Funeral Chapel- Hickman are in charge of arrangements.
