Darline Louise Hunter

Ms. Darline Louise Hunter, age 71, of Hickman, KY passed away Monday, October 27, 2025, at her residence.

She was born on April 15, 1954, in Orange County, CA to the late Louis Shipley and Myrtle Preson Shipley.

Darline was of the Christian faith and retired after 30 years, as a cook from Fairview Mental Hospital in Costa Mesa, CA. She enjoyed baking and sewing.

She is survived by a daughter Wendy Hunter of Owensboro, KY, a son, Johnny Johnson of Hickman, KY, three grandchildren: Nicholas Rios, Junior Lara and Jurnee Lara all of Hickman, KY.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by two brothers; John Shipley and James Buck, two sisters; Coraldene Belcher and LaDonna Chatlos.

There will be no services held at the funeral home and Hornbeak Funeral Chapel in Hickman, KY are in charge of cremation arrangements
