Dannie Lynn Henderson

Mr. Dannie Lynn Henderson, age 64, of Hickman, KY, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, August 18, 2026, with his loving wife and son by his side.

He was born on September 6, 1961, in Hickman, KY, to the late A.T. Henderson and Velma Singleton Henderson.

Mr. Henderson was a proud United States Army veteran and worked as an electrician for C.L. Griffen & Son. He enjoyed watching Law & Order: SVU, spending time playing with Nate, walking around Walmart, and pulling practical jokes on others. Above all, he cherished his wife and children and treasured the time he spent with his family.

He is survived by his loving wife, Amanda Henderson, whom he married on April 29, 2017; two sons, Nathanael Broughton-Henderson of Hickman, KY, and Andrew Henderson of Flint, MI; four daughters, Elizabeth Henderson of Flint, MI, Angela (Darren) Rigoni of Ft. Riley, KS, Melissa (Harley) Copeland of Lenox, TX, and Wendy Duty of Union City, TN; seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and four brothers, Tommy (Jessica) Henderson of Cayce, KY, John (Sandy) Henderson of Tennessee, Tony (Joe Ann) Henderson of West Memphis, AR, and James (Deana) Henderson of West Memphis, AR.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Justin Henderson; three brothers, Craig, Kenny, and Bruce Henderson; and his favorite aunt, Joyce Williams.

Dannie will be remembered for his sense of humor, his kind and caring spirit, and, most of all, the love he had for his family. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Memorial services will be held at a later date. Hornbeak Funeral Chapel in Hickman was in charge of cremation arrangements.
