Charles "Mickey" Newton

Mr. Charles "Mickey" Newton, age 67, of Killen, AL and formerly of South Fulton, TN, passed away Sunday morning, February 25, 2024 at his residence in Killen, AL.

He was born in Fulton, KY on September 28, 1956, to the late Charles Loyd Newton, Sr. and Mary Ann (Witherspoon) Newton. 

Mickey was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Fulton, KY. He worked for Medtronic as a Pacemaker/Difibulator representative and in his time off he loved to go fishing and enjoyed reading.

He is survived by his wife, Ann (Holt) Newton to whom he married August 5, 1977, in Fulton. They raised two sons, Samuel Reid Newton of Key West, FL and Thomas Holt Newton (Shea) of Ardmore, AL; one granddaughter, Radlee McDow of Ardmore, AL.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters.

Graveside services will be held 1PM Saturday, March 2, 2024, at the Greenlea Cemetery. There will be no visitation held at the funeral home and all friends are asked to meet at the cemetery at the hour of service.
