Barbara Wells

Ms. Barbara Wells, age 81, of Wingo, KY passed away Sunday, September 28, 2025 at the Jackson Purchase Medical Center in Mayfield, KY.
She was born on February 12, 1944 in Lafayette, GA to the late T.G and Rosemary Stephens Clark.
Barbara was of the Baptist faith and was retired from the radio industry, where she worked in advertising.
She is survived by a son, Scott Linder of Wingo, KY, three grandchildren: Jamie (Britney) Linder of Water Valley, KY, Sean (Jenna) Linder of Virginia and Clinton Linder of Madisonville, KY and five great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by two sons: Thomas Roy Linder and Stephen Glen Linder, two sisters and two brothers.
Graveside services for Ms. Barbara Wells will be held at 1PM Wednesday, October 1, 2025 in the Clark Cemetery. There will be no visitation held at the funeral home and friends are asked to meet at the cemetery at the hour of service.
