Damerius Thorpe, infant, of Hickman, KY died on Thursday, June 7, 2012 at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau , MO. He was born on June 6, 2012 at the Jackson Purchase Medical Center in Mayfield, KY. Damerius is survived by his mother, Demetria Newberry and his father,Maurice Thorpe of Hickman; sisters, Sa’marya Newberry of Hickman and Lakyiah Womack of Hopkinsville, KY; grandparents, P.J. and Mary Newberry of Hickman, Bryant and Brenda Nall of Hickman and William and Vilisa Thorpe of Nashville, TN. Graveside services are scheduled for 10:00 AM on Saturday, June 9, 2012 at the Hickman City Cemetery with Rev. Steve Turner officiating. Strong Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
